Core vaccinations are recommended for all pets and include distemper combo, leptospirosis, bordetella, and rabies for dogs and feline distemper combo, feline leukemia virus, and rabies for cats. True.Vet may also recommend vaccinations based on your pet’s breed, age, lifestyle, and habits. Dental Care
Some pet owners are surprised to learn that bad breath, excessive drooling, and discolored teeth are signs of dental disease. Fact: about 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of three have some form of dental disease. While this is an alarming stat, your veterinary team can help your pet avoid it with preventative dental care. All True.Vet practices are equipped with state of the art dental technology to ensure your pet’s dental health. To learn more about your pet’s oral health, please schedule an appointment here.
Parasite Prevention
Fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and intestinal parasites are just some of the creepy crawlies that can create serious health problems for your pet when left undetected. Luckily, there are several easy options to prevent parasites from harming your pet. Your True.Vet team can suggest a parasite prevention plan that fits your budget, lifestyle, and most importantly, your pet’s health needs.
Diagnostic Lab Work and Imaging
Diagnostic lab testing is typically conducted annually thanks to our in-house lab and equipment. As a result, True.Vet is able to diagnose, analyze, and treat current and/or future health conditions including cancer. Our veterinary teams use blood, urine, and/or fecal testing to gain valuable information about your pet’s health. In addition, we have advanced on-site imaging including x-rays and ultrasounds so that we can gain a full picture of your pet’s health and wellness.
Nutrition & Diets
We have all heard, ‘you are what you eat’ and this is also true for our pets. Choosing the right food for your pet can be overwhelming thanks to countless benefits and ingredients promising to be the best. Your True.Vet team can help you select the right food for your pet based on their age, lifestyle, and other health factors. We can also recommend and prescribe a special diet if your pet suffers from obesity, pancreatitis, food allergies,
sensitivities, and more.
Behavior Consultation
Every pet has their own personality and your pet is no exception. As such, your pet might be anxious, exhibit separation anxiety, show signs of aggression, or other concerning behaviors. If you have behavior concerns about your pet, talk to your local True.Vet team.
