Born and raised in Darien, IL, Dr. Zebold completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University in Ohio before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. On her very first day of vet school, she met Dr. Keith True — the start of a lasting friendship and professional partnership.
Since graduating, Dr. Zebold has worked as a small animal general practitioner in the Chicago suburbs, focusing on low-stress patient care, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound. She is passionate about delivering high-quality care through a team approach with pet parents and has special interests in behavior and shelter medicine. She also enjoys mentoring new and early-career veterinarians and has a strong bond with senior pets.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, spending time at her grandmother’s lake house, and relaxing with her rescue pittie, Briggs. She’s a proud Bears and Cubs fan and loves being an aunt to her three nieces and one nephew.
